I became interested in photography as a kid using one of the early DSLRs (a Canon Rebel XT) and a kit lens. I always enjoyed taking pictures at my brother's sporting events and at my local park. I did not pursue photography as a career and am an engineer by trade, but I enjoy the technical aspects of photography, spending time outside, and am always looking to learn something new. I consider myself lucky to be able to spend some of my free time pursuing this as a hobby.
